Animation: “Adobe First Frame 2010″ │ USC Animation Students Showcase

Client: USC John C. Hench Animation Program

The piece is hand drawn animation using the technique of “infinite cycles”, in which the animation is created in a limited amount of sheets of paper. In this case 8 pieces of paper where used. It was rendered with Parker ink and later added water and bleach to make the lines bleed and get the degraded look. It was shot with a digital SLR camera and only under-lit to obtain all the rich textures of the rice paper. The original music was created by Colombian composer Ricardo Gallo. It was finalized in Adobe After Effects where all the camera movements where created.
